As a consumer you may often wonder if your information is really safe out there. There are thousands of horror stories about people getting their credit cards hacked just by using them in a place of business. This can be pretty scary and make you not want to use your credit or debit card in places of business. Well luckily for us consumers most people who take credit or debit cards have reliable credit card machines. If a business does not have a reliable credit card machine, they run the risk of losing valuable business. This is why most businesses will make sure that they have the proper equipment for the job.
One popularly used credit card machine that you may see in stores is the Hypercom T7 Plus. Hypercom is an internationally known brand of credit card machines and are known for their reliability and customer service. The T7 Plus is a very unique credit card. It is the very first credit card machine that will allow you to customize it. The T7 Plus has a bi-lingual display that has Big 5 Chinese and English that can be shown at the same time. This machine also has a great paper feature that tells you when you are low on paper. It also has roll paper that is much easier to load and does away with annoying paper jams.
Other features of the T7 Plus include a one touch feature, compact design in a variety of colors, multi merchant features, applications such as EBT, check, and loyalty, up to 56K modem, and a trusted and stable machine. The T7 Plus also offers great security including PED and a boot lock feature which protects full from unauthorized reloading.
The T7 Plus may be one of many credit card machines that you will see in different stores. You may see some just like it or some that are totally different. Either way if you are unsure of that particular credit card machine's security, you can always ask the business owner or management if that credit card machine is up to date on security. Usually it is as most businesses will not risk their customers. Make sure that the machine has PED security and you will be protected from any hackers or fraud that may occur. Remember that in most cases credit card machines are perfectly safe and easy to use. If you have any trouble or concerns be sure to ask.
